cc-tapis participates in the 16th edition of the International Festival
“Design Parade” with the Car Park rug by Odd Matter

Initially welcomed as participants in the 2015 edition, over the years Odd Matter and Villa Noailles have established an ongoing working relationship, participating in various exhibitions and collaborating on special projects together.

On the occasion of the sixteenth edition of the Design Parade, Odd Matter exhibits different pieces created over the years, in a modern and rationalist space, focusing on the link between art, as a practice, and the domestic environment. A selection of objects that evoke the creative process of the designers, focused on transforming sensory experiences lived at a given moment into a permanent design object.

Among the electric pieces, which move between chaos and extreme detail, the Car Park rug launched during the Salone del Mobile 2022 illuminates the exhibition space with its tactile texture. A rug which is the result of experimentation and nostalgia, the collection captures the ephemeral nature of sand, transforming it into a hand-knotted rug made completely by hand by expert Tibetan artisans.

Villa Noailles Hyères

Founded in 2006, Design Parade Hyères was born with the aim of exhibiting and presenting contemporary design creations to professionals and to a wider audience becoming a showcase for 10 emerging designers each year. In 2016 the initiative was extended to Toulon, with the launch of the Design Parade Toulon, focused on interior design.

The two festivals are the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of interior design and design, but also to celebrate the two cities and benefit from the natural landscapes of the French Riviera surrounding them.

If you’re planning to visit the French Riviera, don’t miss the Design Parade at Villa Noailles.
