The new Asmara rugs featured in an artistic installation for the Milan Design Week

The Asmara rug was originally presented as one stand-alone piece, now in 2023, Milan based artist Federico Pepe has designed and included with two new rugs: Zolot and Alfa, expanding the Asmara universe.
The Asmara Collection is a tribute to the capital of Eritrea, the UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its futurist architecture. An innovative urbanistic utopia applied to an African context. The architectural elements of the city are incorporated in the design of each rug “I applied lines which are inspired by the iconography and the formal essence of modernist architecture.”, explains Federico Pepe.
