We are proud to be a partner in this incredible and creative project in the Brera Design Apartment during Milan Design Week 2017. The project encompasses everything from furniture to lighting to accessories to bathrooms and was completely made to measure by Studiopepe including custom wall-hangings and rugs produced by cc-tapis. The design of the wall-hangings and rugs is loosely based on the compositions of Sonia Delaunay and have been hand-woven in Nepal by expert Tibetan artisans. The combination of graphics, geometry and color give life to a seemingly random pattern that, through different methods and inserts of fringes and brass create a language inspired by the twenties. In the place of words, a geometry made from wool and metal are harmoniously combined to create a type of visual poetry.
