This new collection by Martino Gamper “Weft to Warp” explores the craft of carpet knotting. The materials in the rugs are knotted into intersections and crossings of different techniques and colours. As a result of this combination of knotting techniques the pile height of each intersection becomes a different length, creating a highly original rug with a 3 dimensional texture.
